Adams joined the Kurre Laboratory in 2022 and is working to understand clonal hematopoiesis in Fanconi Anemia to advance understanding of and treatments for pediatric hematological disorders.
Sarah Adams earned her Bachler of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Gettysburg College in 2022. While at Gettysburg College she pursued research relating to neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. She investigated the trafficking of TGF- and observed aggregation patterns of -synuclein in the model organism, C. elegans. Adams joined the Kurre Laboratory in 2022 and is working with Suying Liu to understand clonal hematopoiesis in Fanconi Anemia to advance understanding of and treatments for pediatric hematological disorders.
