Dr. Stricker is a clinical outcomes researcher who leads the Pedi-INQUIRE perioperative research team at CHOP. He is a Leonard Davis Institute Senior Fellow, he founded the multicenter Pediatric Craniofacial Collaborative Group, and leads the international Pediatric Perioperative Outcomes Group.
Bio
Paul Stricker, MD, is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and an associate professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Stricker is also a graduate of the Intermountain Advanced Training Program in Healthcare Delivery Improvement at Intermountain Healthcare, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Stricker is a clinical outcomes researcher with an interest in children undergoing complex cranial vault reconstruction surgery. Dr. Stricker founded the Pediatric Craniofacial Collaborative Group, a consortium of North American pediatric anesthesiologists and craniofacial surgeons from over 30 institutions, and he has led this group in creating the multicenter Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery Perioperative Registry.
Dr. Stricker is a senior fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute and a senior scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation (CPORT). He leads the Pedi-INQUIRE research team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, whose mission is to determine pediatric clinical perioperative outcomes using bioinformatics, scientific, and quality improvement methodologies, and to develop diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to improve them.
Dr. Stricker leads the international Pediatric Perioperative Outcomes Group as it develops core outcome sets for pediatric perioperative research, promoting the integration of patient-centered outcomes in clinical research.
