Bio

Dr. Gardner studies novel risk factors associated with outcomes in children after cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary bypass. Her research primarily focuses on the study of circulating biomarkers of inflammation and organ injury, as well as advanced echocardiography techniques. She has published in the areas of neonatal congenital heart disease, including single ventricle heart disease, as well as pediatric cardiac arrest.
