Bio

Mr. Chappelll received his bachelor's degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia in 2012 before returning to get his master's degree in Biology in 2016. During his master's research, Chappell explored the relationship between antibody expression patterns and spawning location in Alaskan Sockeye Salmon. He joined the Rivella lab in the summer of 2017 and currently works on developing improved lentiviral vectors as well as the use of lentiviral vectors for the treatment of alpha-thalassemia.
