Responsible for all entrepreneurship activities within CHOP, driving the strategy for scientific translation of innovations with commercial potential into startups and industry partnerships, and leading CHOP’s direct investments in spinout companies.
Bio
Lisa Jordan drives the strategy and execution to accelerate CHOP’s reputation as a leading center for pediatric innovation and entrepreneurship. Under her leadership the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a key resource for CHOP faculty to assist in developing startup business plans, identifying spinout management, and engaging external venture capital and commercial funding partners. She works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate scientific translation of commercially viable CHOP innovations. The goal of commercializing CHOP’s scientific innovations is to support our organization’s mission by improving pediatric healthcare and continuing to advance education and research within CHOP.
