Jessica Foy works at the Center for Autism Research as a clinical research assistant.
Jessica Foy works at the Center for Autism Research (CAR) as a clinical research assistant with the motor team looking at motor behavior and communication in children and adults with or without an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In addition, she works with Dr. John Herrington on his studies using computer vision and facial expression data to create and validate a set of dimensional, biobehavioral markers of psychiatric symptoms in ASD.
Foy graduated from Lehigh University in 2020 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Public Health. As an undergrad she studied ADHD in young children and the benefits of behavioral parent training with Dr. George DuPaul. She also interned at the Child Mind Institute through their summer treatment program getting one on one clinical experience with children with ADHD, autism, and anxiety. She plans to pursue a graduate degree to continue learning how best to support children with a mental health diagnosis and their families.
