Bio
Dan Singleton joined the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics as the senior manager of the Clinical Reporting group in 2018. He manages a team of clinical database specialists and informatics programmers who work to deliver clinical data to researchers and provide tools for efficient data management. This group also provides comprehensive reviews of study protocols and scope of the IRB approvals, translation into robust queries, assessment of anomalies, customized report generation, and interpretation of results. His team works closely with regulatory, compliance, legal, and IT groups to establish governance that promotes research.
Singleton is a registered nurse and holds a BSN degree from Immaculata University. Before joining CHOP, he was a senior manager in EMR Analytics at Jefferson Aria Health with more than 12 years of clinical experience including Emergency and Critical Care and six years in managing multiple large-scale projects stratified across various aspects of healthcare.
Singleton is active in his community serving on the Board of Directors and webmaster for Parkwood Youth Organization where he also coaches multiple youth sports teams in the travel and intramural levels.
