Bio
Ayana King-Pointer has enjoyed working at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for many years and gained an extensive background in family services before joining the Center for Autism Research (CAR). She finds working at CAR personally and professionally rewarding, having a family member on the autism spectrum. King-Pointer serves as senior resource coordinator and provides high-level administrative support to CAR's scientific director, training director, and administrative director. She also supervises the administrative support team and acts as the information conduit for clinicians and scientists on matters relating to hospital and research administrative processes. King-Pointer handles participant stipends and travel arrangements and is the primary contact for CAR's general office purchasing needs and external vendor relations. She attended Cheyney University where she majored in early childhood education.
