The Office of Collaborative and Corporate Research Contracts (OCCRC) supports innovative research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and safeguards its interests by ensuring thorough contract review and negotiation, while building and maintaining relationships with clinicians, researchers, study teams, industry sponsors, and other academic institutions. The OCCRC team is committed to delivering efficient administrative services on behalf of the CHOP research community, focusing on communication and attention to detail.

OCCRC supports CHOP faculty and staff through the negotiation of contracts where CHOP is receiving funds from industry sponsors for bench research, as well as the various non-funded agreements that support the faculty's research efforts, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Use Agreements, and Material Transfer Agreements. Additionally, OCCRC provides cursory review of CHOP faculty private consulting agreements to ensure that their terms do not conflict with the researcher's obligations to the Hospital.
