Scientific Symposium

Abstract submission for the 28th annual CHOP Research Poster Day is now open!  Anyone conducting research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is welcome to participate. Abstracts are submitted electronically and accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, April 5. Researchers may submit up to two abstracts, but will only be eligible for one award. Posters that have been displayed in previous CHOP Research Poster Days are ineligible unless there are significant updates to the research. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate presenters who have not completed the abstract submission form by the deadline. Participants will have the option to display a poster and be judged or to display a poster only.

CHOP Research Poster Day will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the lobby and first floor of the Colket Translational Research Building. Presenters should set-up their posters by 8:45 a.m. and be prepared to attend their posters during the 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. judging period. A reception and awards ceremony will be held in Colket lobby at 4:00 p.m.

The annual Scientific Symposium will take place on the following day, May 22, and will focus on the advances that CHOP researchers have made in the booming area of genomics and data science. Opportunities are available for Poster Day presenters to submit their abstract for consideration for presentation at the Symposium.
