About the Talk
This talk will explore the factors that can lead to successful implementation of clinical decision support systems, using pediatric lead testing to frame the discussion. Attendees will gain insights into practice approaches for implementing and scaling CDS interventions to improve clinical care.

About Dr. Lauren Coogle
Lauren Coogle is a clinical informatics fellow at CHOP, primary care pediatrician, and an Air Force veteran. She earned her MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her pediatric residency at Dayton Children's Hospital / Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where she also served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining CHOP, she was stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, where she held the role of chief medical information officer. She has applied her background as a former Epic (EHR) employee and experience in quality improvement to multiple projects focused on optimizing the EHR to meet the needs of pediatric patients and providers.
