CHOP Gateway to Pediatric Research Program: A Postdoctoral Diversity Initiative

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the Gateway to Pediatric Research Program will take place virtually on April 21 and 22, 2021.

The goal of this program is to introduce research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to promising senior graduate students and junior postdoctoral fellows from different backgrounds, races, ethnic groups, life experiences, research experiences and employment backgrounds. This includes individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and women underrepresented in their scientific disciplines.

Participants from across the nation are invited to view keynote talks from esteemed CHOP faculty, connect with CHOP faculty in 1:1 chats and hear from current CHOP postdocs about life and research in Philly. Opportunities to apply for travel awards and funded fellowships will also be discussed.
