CHOP's Diversity Symposium Lecture Series presents a workshop:

Burnout Immunity

Speaker:
Kandi Wiens MBA, MSEd, EdD
Senior Fellow, University of Pennsylvania
Co-Director of the Penn Master’s in Medical Education Program and the Penn Health Professions Education Certificate Program
Co-Academic Director, PennCLO Master’s Program

Workshop participants will:

  • Develop key emotional intelligence competencies by participating in individual self-reflection and small group discussions
  • Assess your burnout risk level
  • Learn how to apply the ARMOR framework to develop resilience and protect yourself from burnout.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

Registered attendees will receive a calendar invitation with location details.
Lunch will be served promptly at 11:15 a.m. and the workshop will begin at 11:30 a.m.

About the speaker:

Dr. Wiens has taught frequently at Wharton Executive Education and in the PennCLO Executive Doctoral Program. She holds a Master’s and a doctorate from the PennCLO Executive Doctoral Program at the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the University of Oregon, and a BS in Business Administration from Montana State University. Her areas of expertise include burnout, emotional intelligence, resiliency, and organizational change and culture. She is the sole PennCLO executive doctoral student ever to be honored with triple distinctions for dissertation proposal, dissertation research, and dissertation final defense hearing.
