The CHOP Multidisciplinary Immune Dysregulation Team is hosting the 7th Annual Immune Dysregulation Symposium:

Rub Some DIRT In It: An Immune Dysregulation Approach to Infection

The symposium is intended for clinicians, researchers, and those who care for patients with complex multiorgan immune disease. This symposium will explore immune dysregulation driven by infection and review knowledge on disease pathogenesis and best practices for therapeutics. The event will include cutting-edge talks, a debate on therapeutic decision-making, provocative cases, and more.

Keynote Speakers:

  • Jeffrey I. Cohen, MD
Chief of Laboratory of Infectious Disease and of the Medical Virology Section at the National Institutes of Health
  • Manish Butte, MD, PhD
Division Chief of Immunology, Allergy, and Rheumatology
Professor with tenure in the Department of Pediatrics at University of California Los Angeles
  • Carolina Lopez, PhD
Professor of Environmental Medicine and BJC Investigator in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis

In this full-day hybrid seminar, attendees will:

  • Gain an understanding of diagnosis, treatment, and overall approaches for immune dysregulation conditions
  • Improve knowledge and proficiency on various infectious disease topics
  • Receive insights into research and clinical care of infectious diseases in the immunocompromised host

It precedes the Clinical Immunology Society meeting in Philadelphia to synergize with common activities and themes.

Registration is required.
