Where Can I Go for Help in Understanding the Special Education Process?

Many organizations provide information and guidance to parents about the special education process. In many states, the Procedural Safeguards document, which must be given to parents at least once a year, includes a list of resources. If your child is less than 3 years old, his or her Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) should also contain resources for families, particularly if you have requested them.
