Getting "Me" Time

What do you do for yourself?

Once you are sure the children are safe and accounted for…. Relax and take some time for yourself.

Bowling night?

Lunch with a friend?

A quiet cup of coffee and thumbing through a magazine?

Next time the children are safely in school, or asleep, take a few minutes for you – to relax and take a breath. The dishes will wait, the dirty clothes will wait.

This is time for you to “relax” and re-center yourself. Don’t feel guilty; this is time you need to regroup and reenergize yourself. As Nike says: “JUST DO IT!”
