The CHOP-Penn Proteomics Core team, under the direction of Lynn Spruce, has been busy disseminating our work in the professional community, increasing our staff to better meet your needs, and bidding a fond farewell to a long-time colleague.

Research technician Jennifer Roof presented the Core's work in sample preparation of low input material using adaptive focused acoustics technology at the American Society of Mass Spectrometry Annual Conference in Houston. Her work was showcased as a poster in the general meeting.

The Proteomics Core recently welcomed research technicians Elizabeth Brown and Erik Nash to our team. They will help to optimize and develop sample preparation methods.

Join us in congratulating research associate Hua Ding, PhD, on her retirement after 21 years at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Ding played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge sample preparation techniques including workflows for sub-proteome enrichment and will be missed.

Our Core offers a diverse array of proteomics experiments, specializing in bottom-up, mass spectrometry-based proteomics with a commitment to quality, rigor, problem-solving, and innovation. We are enthusiastic about discussing your projects and ideas and addressing your data-related questions.
