The 2025 MidAtlantic Bioinformatics Conference will be held this year on Friday, November 7, 2025, and features today’s leaders in the field of bioinformatics. Authors are invited to submit poster topics from all areas of bioinformatics, computational and systems biology, and genomics on algorithms, software, databases, and analysis of genetic or genomic data, including but not limited to the following topics:

  • Imaging and Spatial Biology
  • Integrative Analyses of Biological Data on Multiple Scales
  • Diagnostic Focus on Genetic and Genomic Data
  • Machine Learning Methods Applied to Single- and Multi-level 'omics' Data
  • Structural Variants and Non-coding Variants
  • Visualization and Visual Analytics of Biological and Health Data
  • Epigenetics of Human Diseases
  • Computational Systems Biology and Biological Network Modeling
  • Epistasis of Genetic Variants
  • Population and Comparative Genomics
  • Single-cell Sequencing and Analyses
  • Translational Bioinformatics
  • Imputation of Genomic and Epigenomic Data
  • Genome and Sequence Analysis
  • Bioinformatics Methods Development
  • Genotype-Phenotype Relationships

Deadline

The deadline for all poster submissions is Monday, September 15, 2025, with the decisions to be announced on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Location

The poster session will be held in the lobby of the Colket Translational Research Building, at 3501 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, 19104.

Poster Lightning Round Session

Posters with the highest ranking after review by the Committee will be selected to present at the lightning round session during the conference.

Trainee Poster Awards

Students and trainees are eligible for awards associated with submitting a poster abstract for the 2025 MidAtlantic Bioinformatics Conference. Trainee award winners will be featured in a special session during the conference. Three (3) awards of $250 will be presented.

To be eligible for the Student and Trainee Abstract Awards, the recipient must be the primary author of the abstract.
