LEEP: Leadership Essentials for Early-Career PIs 2024

Returning in December 2024, LEEP: Leadership Essentials for Early-Career PIs prepares emerging faculty leaders to connect with their staff, embrace decision-making, and lead their research teams with intention.
Apply early, as space is limited. Applications close Nov. 1.
This program is designed for faculty who are new to leading research teams. In this seven-month cohorted program, participants will gain an understanding of leadership fundamentals, connect with peers to discuss strategies and approaches, and begin applying their new skills with their research teams.
Monthly sessions will be facilitated by the Center for Professional Growth. Each prescheduled journal club is a chance to connect with your peers and build upon knowledge gained in facilitated meetings. Attendance and participation are expected at all sessions:

*The first and last Facilitated Sessions are held in person on CHOP’s Main campus. All other sessions are held virtually.
Applications are highly encouraged from individuals or groups who are traditionally underrepresented in STEM, including but not limited to, women and underrepresented minorities.
This program is intended for research investigators with faculty appointments and is designed and organized by the Office of Faculty Development.
