Content Submission Forms Upgrades

CHOP Research Institute Website Forms Upgrades:

JIRA Core is being upgraded from 8.0.2 to 8.9.0

Date: Thursday, May 28, 2020
Time: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Alert: The planned upgrade of Research Information Services Atlassian JIRA-based request forms on www.research.chop.edu will happen from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

The forms will not function or submit requests during this upgrade. These are non-business hours to reduce impact. Please plan accordingly and submit your requests before or after this planned upgrade window. The website itself should not be affected, and will continue to function. The effect is for CHOP network users only. External users will not notice any difference to display or function.

Effected forms include:

  • Submit an Event
  • Submit an Announcement
  • Submit an Edit – (Button on right side of Research Institute's website)
  • Update this Profile – (Button on right of Faculty Profile pages)
  • Suggest a Search Result (Button on right of Research Institute's Search pages)
  • Request this Service – (Button on left of RIS Web Services)
  • Any other forms that submit via JIRA intake functionality

This is to ensure future maintainability and incorporate new functionality.
