The Aquatic Zebrafish Core added a new adult behavioral analysis system that will extend our capabilities to analyze behavior across the zebrafish lifespan, from larval stages to adults.

The Noldus system uses EthnoVision XT video tracking software that will enable studies of simple behaviors (e.g., activity and startle response) as well as more complex behaviors including anxiety, sleep, social interactions, learning and memory. The new capabilities will allow investigators to expand their research programs with studies that include autism, metabolic, mitochondrial and neuro-degenerative disease.

Contact Core Director Christoph Seiler, PhD, with questions. Visit the Aquatic Zebrafish Core website to read more about all available services.
