The Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine is part of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. CHOP offers several services at the Perelman Center. CHOP’s Cancer Center patients have access to sophisticated proton therapy at the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, the largest and most advanced facility in the world for this precise form of cancer radiation. In addition, the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center treats young adults and adults living with congenital heart conditions.

Dr. Kelly’s research career began with deciphering the genetic basis of inborn errors in metabolism in children, followed by a series of breakthrough discoveries relevant to the diagnosis and treatment of common forms of heart failure in the general population.

Dr. Wan focuses her research on chronic inflammatory skin diseases, primarily atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. Through her work she aims to understand and address the health, social, and life impacts of chronic skin disease in children.
