In submitting nomination letters, please note the following guidelines:

• Nomination packages must contain one to three signed letters from current faculty (not fellows) at the rank of assistant professor or higher
• Mentor Award recipients must have a faculty appointment in one of the CHOP clinical departments: Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Surgery

The award is designed to honor:

• Faculty-to-faculty mentoring
• During the past three years of activity (not life-time achievement award)
• Dedication to mentoring regardless of personal benefit or obligation to serve
• Excellence in mentoring various aspects of academic careers such as research, clinical care, administration, teaching, service and strategic career development as appropriate
• Innovation in designing mentoring activities as appropriate
• Mentor's personal academic achievements not a factor for this award
