Eligibility

All full-time undergraduate students and seniors graduating from college/university in the Spring are eligible to apply, provided that they:

  • Are enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university
  • Have a minimum 3.3 overall GPA and a strong interest in biomedical research
  • Are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents

The average GPA of past CRISSP interns is 3.8. Students with the highest acceptance rate were sophomores and juniors interested in pursuing a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D., and were self-directed and highly motivated.

CRISSP interns must participate in the entire 10-week program, attend all mandatory events, and abide by all guidelines of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and CRISSP. CRISSP interns will be required to sign an agreement adhering to all Terms & Conditions of the program.
