About CPCE
The Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) is a Center of Emphasis in the Joseph Stokes Jr. Research Institute. The center promotes research on how to best manage pediatric illnesses, disseminates knowledge gained from this research, and partners with other groups at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to implement best practices to improve the quality of care delivered to children in the Children's Hospital healthcare network.
Our Mission
CPCE's mission is to discover and spread knowledge about best practices in pediatric disease by facilitating, organizing and centralizing the performance of clinical effectiveness research, the mentoring of fellows and faculty in clinical effectiveness research, and the dissemination and implementation of research findings.
Collaboration With CPCE
The purpose of our Web site is to enhance our ability to collaborate with all interested researchers. Here you will find information about our seminar series, Pilot Grant Program, mentoring and teaching programs, and calendar of events, as well as resources for investigators (such as our data services and grants database) and research coordinators. If you are interested in what CPCE has to offer, but cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact center manager, Debra Hillman, at hillman@email.chop.edu.
