Study Participation
The research at the Center for Autism Research is based on the belief that effective treatments will follow from a better understanding of the causes of autism spectrum disorders.
We want to understand the individual differences across the autism spectrum and define subgroups within the disorder. Our goal is to identify specific treatments targeted to each subgroup. To accomplish this, we need to see large numbers of individuals all along the autism spectrum.
Advances in the autism field are made as a direct result of the willingness of individuals to participate in research. By joining a research study – and asking your friends and neighbors to join in too (we need typically developing participants for comparison purposes) – you really can make a difference in the lives of families living with autism.
