Dr. Berry is a Clinical Autism/Neuropsychology Fellow at the Center for Autism Research. She obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas Lutheran University in 2000 and her master's degree in clinical psychology from Southern Methodist University in 2003. In 2009, she obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Connecticut. During her doctoral training, Dr. Berry served as a research assistant on a project investigating the M-CHAT as a screening measure for autism spectrum disorders in toddlers under the supervision of Deborah Fein, Ph.D. and conducted comprehensive autism evaluations of toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Dr. Berry completed her clinical internship at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas with particular emphases on neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with various medical conditions impacting neuropsychological functioning; neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with suspected autism spectrum disorders; and evidence-based treatment for ASD and other conditions. Dr. Berry's research interests include early identification and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders, evidence-based interventions, and factors associated with positive treatment outcomes.
