Dr. Weiss focuses on pediatric vasculitis and juvenile arthritis, including the early identification of children who are at high risk of developing severe disease phenotypes and who would benefit from targeted, aggressive therapy shortly after diagnosis.
Dr. Pamela Weiss? research focus includes pharmacoepidemiology and outcomes research in pediatric vasculitis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). She has experience with longitudinal analysis, comparative effectiveness studies, and patient-oriented research. Specifically, Dr. Weiss investigates 1) the treatment and outcomes of pediatric vasculitis, including Henoch-Schönlein purpura, and 2) the evaluation and treatment of enthesitis-related arthritis, a category of JIA.
