The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia serves as a teaching and training resource for medical students and graduate students in biomedical sciences at the University of Pennsylvania and other institutes of learning. Most of the Hospital's investigators are members of the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and participate actively in educational programs by teaching, participating on thesis committees and serving as advisors for thesis research.

Because of this alliance, many graduate students from the University are offered rotation opportunities in laboratories at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute. Students who are interested in seeking a rotation project with a member of the CHOP Research Institute should review our investigator profiles to identify researchers who may be doing work that is of interest to them.
