Each sequencing rxn will generate two files: a chromatogram file (trace) and a text file. The sequence in the text file is generated automatically by the data analysis program, it may contain errors especially in the beginning and toward the end of the data collected. It is strongly recommended that you check the chromatogram (trace), edit the sequence, and use the edited sequence for analysis.
